Lil' Girl's Loop - feat. Rohalt, Bas van den Boom

 "Lil' Girl's Loop" is a song telling a thoroughly story, based in part on my life, starting from early childhood. It explores fundamental needs such as love and safety. How a coping mechanism such as running away from difficult situations, seems to be the one and only way to move forward. An insight how a fast forward way of trying to control life, basically is a way to stay stuck in your personal loop. A way made especially potent in the times of disconnect and isolation it emerged from.

This song is not a song about Love only. It’s a metaphor for anything or anyone you put yourself secondary for. Because you think it’s the best you can do.

1 Minute Lifetime is about the thin line between dandelion wishes, facts, dreams, reality, need, doubt, surrender, prudence, romanticism and disappointment. 

The process of writing, composing and finally releasing a song is to be compared to falling in love, growing together as close as possible and finally... letting go. "Roses are meant to be red, like violets are meant to be blue.."

We are so much aware of the dark side of the consequences. While life turns into hell for us humans, there seems to be a resurrection for nature.
